After reading Chp. 5-8, you should have a better idea of what the community is like.
Task #1
Here are a couple questions about the text:
1) What was different about Jonas' folder of instructions?
a) he didn't get a folder
b) it only had one sheet of paper
c) it was written in another language
d) his folder had more than everyone else's folders
2) What do you think the stirrings are?
a) bad dreams
b) hopes for the future
c) feelings

Task #2
What could be some of the advantages of everyone being the same?
What would the disadvantages be? Explain what our society would be like if everyone was the same. What do you like about everyone in our society being different and having choices that lead to differences?
First I think it would be C C. the advanteges would be no body has stuff other people want. the disadvantege would be what if you didn't want what other people had. our society would kinda be boreing if we all had the same thing we would not have a choice to have our own kids we would be assigned a name and a family.

our society would be normal everyday even if a tornado everyone would have the same idea what to do. I like being different because if other people knew how to solve world hunger no one couldn't tell because they were stck doing the same thing every day FOREVER!!!

I like being the way it is because people are specil in there own ways.
ReplyDeleteDamien, check your answers again. I don't understand the one about the lie on question #1. For Task #2 proofread what you wrote and make sure that's what you meant to say, it's hard to understand the part about your parents and dying.

Task 2 Part 1: Think an advantage would be that everyone would be in the same shape.
Task 2 Part 2:A disadvantage would be nobody could come up with new ideas.
Task 2 Part 3: Our society would be with no people would be different.
Task 2 Part 4: I like our society being different because everybody learns stuff from there mistakes and other peoples mistakes.
